Sugarloaf 2020

The Sugarloaf 2020 plan has already taken place, expanding the moutain on to the neighbor mountain Burnt. This project will make Sugarloaf the biggest ski resort east of the rookies. The first phase on the expanding has already taken place creating Brackett Basin. Brackett Basin is a masive 270 acre glades expantion with steeps and cliffs. The rest of the 2020 plan will be making all of Burnt skiiable, putting new lifts up, fixing already existing lifts, and making the lodge area even nicer looking.

Reggae Fest 2011

This up and coming weekend is the 23rd annual Reggae Fest presented by Bud Light. This will be from April 14th through the 17th. Music will be playing all day and night each day, starting Thursday night. Renegade Sound Station, Spiritual Rez, Soul Rebel Project, Roots of Creation, iLa Mawana, Soul Rebel Project, Mighty Mystic, and Fitzie Niceness & Soul Union will be playing all weekend in different places on the mountain. Reggae Fest is known to be a big spring skiing party at the East Coast king of spring. Ski magazine put Reggae Fest in the top 10 of spring skiing parties, only East Coast mountain to make it in the list. What better place could you be?

Welcome to a blog on sugarloaf! This blog will be following the shredding done on both skis and snowboards everyweekend. This past weekend 4/8-4/10 was the first warm spring weekend, all three days in the 50"s and sunny. Reggae fest is the 14 through the 17 with music all around the mountain.
